This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you download, install, and use the Zephyrist app (“App”) on your mobile device (“Device”).
Collection of Personal Information
When you download and use the App, your Advertising ID may be transmitted to a 3rd party (Google AdMob) for targeted advertising purposes. Details on AdMob’s policies may be found at this link.
No other personal information is collected including your user settings or results of calculations performed to determine optimal window opening times. This information is stored and processed only on your Device.
Location Services
Location services may be used to determine your Device’s location. This information is stored only on your Device only and transmitted to OpenWeather via an API to collect weather information. Per OpenWeather’s privacy policy, the location information is not stored.
You may choose not to use your Device’s location by disabling location services for this App and instead entering in location coordinates manually.
You rough location is also used by AdMob based on your Device’s IP address for advertising purposes.
Retention of Personal Information
Zephyrist runs solely on your Device. There is no information collected directly by the app to be stored in a central location.
If you wish to erase the small amount of information that is stored locally on your Device, you may do so by pressing the “reset settings” button within the App or by deleting the app.
